Join Cat for this 4 night luxurious Yoga retreat in Marrakech. Cat is a Dru Yoga teacher but has studied with other schools too. She will offer a variety of rejuvenating and relaxing Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation and Qi Gong. Working with grounding and spaciousness as well as all the 5 elements, there will be a number of choices daily to suit your mood and lift your spirit and soul.

Dru Yoga is a traditional form based on Indian Hatha and is a flowing style of movement along with guided breath. Sometimes it can even feel like a dance!

Retreat Location

Relaxation is the speciality of this calming oasis a 15-minute drive from, but seemingly a world away, bustling Marrakesh. Made up of five sand-hued villas and three eco-villa suites sprinkled around 3.5 acres of rose-filled gardens, this boutique complex promises pure relaxation and rejuvenation. Pebble pathways lead to the superbly appointed individual villas and suites, all of them designed to allow guests to be as private or social as they wish.

Classes and practices are held outdoors in the scented grounds, and guests can also avail themselves of the outdoor pool, spa, hammam and the many seats and hammocks around the property. Our Retreats include breakfast and a 3 course dinner,  a lunch and snack menu is also available with authentic North African dishes prepared using fresh local ingredients by the resident chef.

When it comes to exploring, there are a number of excursions available to book outside of the Retreat sessions including a trip to Marrakesh’s souks, while the nearby Atlas Mountains draw guests with their peaceful hiking trails, waterfalls, and Berber villages.

      I am originally from Wales but settled in London for many years and completed all my yoga studies in London. Now relocated back to Gwynedd, North Wales. I have been practicing Yoga since the early Nineties and have trained in many forms of Yoga, specializing in DRU Yoga. I began my training initially with the British Wheel of Yoga before discovering DRU. I trained with the school of DRU Yoga London for 3 years, DRU Meditation for 3 years and DRU Kids & Teens in London, The Midlands & North Wales. Also qualified as a Dru Yoga Dance teacher in 2018. I am privileged to have trained with the wonderful Yoga professionals at DRU and continuing on a path in various specialisms. My classes are based on the DRU Yoga techniques of Activations (warm ups), Energy Block Release sequences, Pranayama, Asanas, beautiful flowing sequences ending with deep relaxation techniques. The focus is especially on flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisation and I also incorporate much of my personal experience into the practice. The sessions work on body, mind and spirit – improving strength and flexibility, creating core stability, building a heightened feeling of positivity, and deeply relaxing and rejuvenating your whole being. Boost up your energy levels and leave refreshed and alert yet calm and relaxed. Dedicated Meditation classes consist of warm ups, EBRs, Prana Kriyas, Relaxation and guided Meditations
